Default how much would you pay for a 95 gsr 4 door?

have the oppurtunity to purchase a 95 gsr 4 door it has 123,000 miles in ok shape, need new paint and interior need redone, other than that what do you think its worth. There starting price is 4500 but blue book on it is 2950. I know it depends on where you live but any insight on what a realistiic offer would be. thanks

no one he said 3700 takes it. supposedly clean title, motor has had timing belt and water pump supposedly the interior is rough and so is the outside.

bad cosmetic condition is defenetly bad, but if it pulls strong and its a 4 door it may be worth that, as long as its a healthy, non abused engine.. people love 4 door gsr's. wingless in championship white... mmmmm delicious.

anyway depending on exactly how bad the cosmetics are it could be worth 3700, of course try to get lower. but make sure you get everything checked out to make sure the engine is still strong.

i decided to go ahead and gamble and buy it for 3700 i figure that the motor is worth at least 2000 so who would nt buy a clean shell for 1700. so i guess let the fun begin.

I paid 2k for my 94 4 door but its an LS... Clean interior and the body has small dings... basically the small cosmetic things you'd expect on a 13 year old car... but it had all maintenance records and a clean title and as far as I know its never been in an accident... I plan on respraying it Championship White or Boosting it next year... probably gonna boost it but idk... but anyway I think 3700 is a pretty good price... got any pics of it?

i should have pics by this weekend. I figure the cost of the car is only a third of the total money i wil spend on it. first things is suspension and wheels and then front end conversion then paint! let the money pit begin!

3700 sounds pretty good. i have 2 95 DB's. i paid 5300 for a black on black auto special edition w/ 60k on it for wifey. and 2950 for my 95 GSR from the original owner. the GSR had 130k was well maintained, and just has a few spots of honda cancer. aside from that it runs like a top.

so as long as the car is healthy cosmetic stuff can take the back seat.

Obviously if the engine is in good shape, that's the most important thing, but with the cosmetics being poor, I think you could have gotten it for at least $3300 cash.

i started at 3300 but they said the just did all the maintance so they wouldnt go below 3700 but i figured its only a 2 owner car and there hard to find around here so i grabbed it, so far im happy i just need to get it looked at, because it smokes a litttle when i get on it after 5k. Hopefully its nothing to seriuos. Other that the car runs great and its still fun to drive!

I bought a 94 DB8 a few months ago... 198k, dark green ext with perfect tan int, 5 spd, wingless, scratched up and door dinged body with typical rust, primered hood, bumper, and fender, sitting on DA 14's.................$1000.00
Not bad IMO, I'd pay more than $1k for a GSR swap with the same miles to rebuild so...

id say buy whole car forget buying motor and trans seprate your never going to find a clean straight body for a bargain (cheap). i got my 00 db8 gsr for $2900 it had front frame damage so what??? motor alone was worth that plus i have extra parts i could sell/keep then i bought another 94 gsr teg 2dr for $1300 off http://www.craigslist.com it was all good decent shape ran strong only thing left side door had huge dent and paint was fading, big deal body and paint and now got a clean dc2 you will never get a clean body for cheap, so get db8 that has clean interior good strong healthy motor and clean title but who cares about paint and body, unless its like really bad body then no of coaurse
