Default tires

The motor in my friends car went and he just put brand new tires on it 2 months ago. The size is 185/65r 15. My accords stock tire size is 195/60r 15. I could really use new tires and he offered them to me at a great price. Should the size be a problem? thanks

Default Re: tires (livermore)

185/65R15 is a 24.4" tall tire and 7.28" wide. 195/60R15 is a 24.2" tall tire and 7.67" wide. I'd think you should have no problem running them they just will be slightly taller and a little narrower. I personally upgraded to 205's on mine. I'm not sure what the second number is but they are quite a bit taller and wider and imo look a ton better. If you can get a good deal though they should work.
