Look man, you aren't listening. They kill your rockers. Do a search on them. Sure they make fine power, for about 4k miles.

Awsome power, especially if you get their header to go with them. Running life is a bit lower than stock. Depends how much you use your car.

Seriously, this is the last and final post I will reply to before I report you to the Trojan Accidental Birth Termination Agency. I have put up TWICE that the cams are junk. Let me try some adjective, garbage, ****, loose fecal matter, the cam crower dropped on the floor, XS pukage, SS autoshit, and I am out. If you don't get it after that and realize Don was being facetious due to you lack of ability to comprehend what I am trying to tell you, then buy them at your own risk.

When the cams either A break in half or B wear your rocker pads all the way through in 4000 miles, don't come crying.

its either they're using a clappy material for the cam itself(doubtful). or the profile of the cam sucks so bad that it tears up the pads(likely).

theres more to designing a cam than having the tools to cut them.

how much can the overall shape of the lobe differ from one aftermarket cam to the next?

would very aggresive ramp rates lead to this occurance?

No, but an incompatable material with the rockers would.

i see...so is cam technology like pistons where different percentages of various metals are used to acieve a a certain alloy?

if that doesnt make sense...do different cam manufacturers use different metals for their cams or are they mostly of the same composition?

Yes. Roller rocker cams use a diff. material than slider cams. Think about using steel bearings"no trimetal" on your steel crank.

i understand....is there any particular reason that the different style valvetrains require different materials? does one style produce more heat/friction than the other requiring a stronger/longer lasting material?
