Default SERIOUSLY considering selling my 98 ITR, what's her value?

98 #1027

29K miles, has mods but can probably return to mostly stock if desired.

give me an idea of what you think a good price is with AND w/ out mods.

spoon header, 16" spoon wheels w/ Azenis (less than 2K miles on em), hi flow cat, Tanabe Racing medalion, spoon thermo, ES shifter bushings and motor mount inserts, JDM rear upper strut bar, Eibach springs (pro-kit, 1" drop approx.), Hella horn system, clear corners, removed rear wiper (have assembly still), alarm, Catz foglights, Field VTEC/Fuel controller, Toda Cam Gears (Gen II), tinted windows all the way around...there's probably some things I'm missing.

I also have new in box which I was going to install...
Exedy Clutch
Dynabatt 13.5 LB battery

these will be sold separately...

just getting an idea, and anyone w/ serious offers let me know.

She is in immaculate condition (2 small door dings on driver side, 1 small scratch above exhaust can)

Let me know
having some life changes at the moment and this has really piqued my decision to sell...I'm not DYING to sell her, so lowballers need not apply...CW's are rare as hell now and she has lots of life left to her at 29K miles...Mobil 1 used at EVERY oil change since properly broken in and it does NOT LEAK!

any ?'s email me

EDIT...BTW, this car is factory A/C equipped

You'll probably get more out of it if you sold it stock then sold your parts separately, hopefully you'll get somewhere around the 16-18 G range with that milage.

Also, clean car you have there

actually, believe it or not, kelly blue book has values for the 1997/1998 ITRs now ... they estimate it to be 16k if in ultra good condition like yours....pretty gay.

Stock-to a dealer with complete original paint =$16-17,000 easy.

Stock to an enthusiast. Anythings game. $16,500-??

Hard to say what it's worth as equipped. I know a kid who payed 21k for a 97 lude with 17k miles equipped simmilar to yours. I thought that was insane but the buyer didn't. The value differs greatly depending on each buyer's wants.

If you have the means, contact a wholesaler and work out a deal to run it at a Manhiem auto auction. Lately, civics and integras have been doing big money with good aftermarket equipment. A few weeks ago at Manhiems Pa sale, I saw an 00 GSR w/14k, I/H/E, carbon hood, body kit, and 17's do 17,800!!! Keep in mind a dealer payed that much and still has to mark it up and sell it. Thats rediculous!

Typically dealers want nothing to do with aftermarket stuff. But currently clean ones like yours(pending close inspection) are bringing big coin in the right places.

Keep in mind, people with no money and no posssible way to buy will say it's worth the most. Their opinions aren't worth much.

I don't know if this help any.

Jason,

If you decide to sell it, let me know. My dad is looking for a clean 98. He lives up in O-town.

IM Sent...

the decision to sell has pretty much been made.....but I'm just trying to find out what I can get for it. too many options w/ the mods that are on it and what I can obtain as far as stock parts I've sold off...

easiest way would be as is, but i'd lose more $$$ that way

I paid $17,000 for my 98 that I just got with 34k miles. It is super clean and was stock excapt for the muffler and intake and I got all of the stock intake parts.

You will most definitely see more money parting out the aftermarket stuff.

Car looks great.

Jason: Return it to stock and sell all the parts seperately. And sell the car as stock but give the VX-1's away with the car. lol

Figure 16-17k for the car, then 3kish for the mods (including the new ats fd and such).. that's 19-20k which is a good bit more than you'd get selling the car with mods for 16,500-17,500 (mods don't make it much more valuable, if at all, to most buyers) + 500-1000 for the stuff not installed..

i hate to jump into a place i don't necessarily belong, but hopefully this can work out. i currently own a 98 240sx i'm selling. an itr in CW is exactly the car i want. i don't particularly care what part of the country you are from, i'll fly there and pick it up. if you could post up how much you would want for the car (in stock form preferably) i would be most appreciative. you don't want to trade do you?

btw......after having a heavily modified itr pass me at 9k+ rpm at the track, i'm extremely jealous of you all.

thank you for your time.

HAHA I can only hope that's a joke!
