CTR cams stamped with a K?
Hey guys i just bought CTR cams and i was wondering why there is a K stamped in the middle of the cam. Is it supposed to be there? If anyone knows please let me know. THanks

did you buy them off ebay becuz lots of people get scammed by posting ctr or type r cams when they really are b16 or gsr cams instead the way you can tell is on the top cam first you need to no how a ctr cam looks like at top of cam buy its grooves or some ish like that

i know its a true ctr cam ive seen those pictures before thats how i was able to tell in the first place. we were just wondering what the K stands for.

you thread title implies that you are not sure if you have ctr cams. people come in here hoping you posted good quality photos of every aspect of the cam in hopes of helping you identify the cam itself. however, in the above post, you clearly state that they are ctr cams, and you were just wondering what the k stands for.
a properly labeled thread title will get you the answer you need. maybe some thing along the lines of {what does the "k casting" on the ctr cam stand for}
however, in my honest opion...--> what does it matter what the k stands for? if they are true ctr cams then just use them. its the specs of the cam shaft itself(degree/lift/duration/etc, including wear/tear) that really matters.
