Electric Superchargers
So i have just heard about these electric superchargers. and wanted to get some opinions on them. i have a feeling most of them are useless e.g. the ones on ebay. but there is one that i think is legit. its one made by thomas knight featured in turbo magazine. so does anybody think these things work or are worth the money?
You will get more power per dollar out of a nitrous kit. Electric superchargers are useless. I am sure they would work good if some one spent the money to really develop a good one. But i am assuming that by the time they create a decent kit, the cost would be more than a mechanical supercharger.
Additionally, think about the economies of scale. If they could sell millions, that would drive parts costs down. But since good electric superchargers are not produced in mass, the cost of making a good kit probably out weighs the required rate of return on the project. So crappy ones are made. Thus people make and sell what is profitable, good ole capitalism.

yea the only one that i thought would actually work. had a price tag that was pretty hefty. just about as much as a turbo kit. but the idea they used was pretty good i thought.
