I really doubt they are, no reason why they should be.

Airmass which is associated with holley makes D series header tripple coated from outside and once from inside " to better the flow" ... I bough it but not yet installed ... good quality and decent price ... about $100 shipped

not sure of the benefit to the inside being coated since carbon deposits will build up anyway

The benefit is that it prevents excessive heat from being absorbed and trapped in the walls of the tubing, when can shorten the life-span of the header. Good professional coaters will coat a header inside and out (or at least offer you that option).

fair point on a race car but whats the likelyhood of that happening on a street car?

It's difficult to measure or quantify, but David Stadulis of SMSP has cautioned the same thing on numerous occasions.

we have speed bumps over here and we tend to go for stainless as ceramic is brittle and cracks if we hit it whereas the stainless would dent or bend....

is your car low enough for you to worry about the header hitting objects in the road?

As far as dc sports go:

stainless > ceramic

The ceramic dc will still rust.

Though if you're going to spend ~$300 on a header, spend the extra $200-400 and get a good one, with some real R&D behind it. It's worth it.

I've actually got the Airmass header, and it's pretty good. I don't really concentrate on the heat dissipation, because I know that an N/A unbuilt D-series does not compare too well to a full-race motor, but whatever, it was CARB legal, and not $300.

Where do you find them for $100 shipped? I've never heard of these headers, but in google searching them, I have not seen them for $100 shipped..more like $200-300 (summit racing). Any suggestions?

Probably, but you need header specific paint, anything else will burn off within minutes. I learned this the hard way back in the day when i used 1000 degree paint, and it was gone by the days end, lol, so it gets hotter than that.
