has any del sol out there had there roof leak fixed
if so, what did you do? I've been to 3 dealers and no techs know of anyway to fix the problem. I also checked soffseal, and nothing for del sol.

There is a tutorial somewhere online on how to tighten your top by shimming the front mounting points with washers. I did this to my car and it worked quite well, however keep in mind the long term effects of this may reduce the life of the seals by putting too much pressure on them.
If it's already leaking, it depends on how badly. If it is fairly bad, then chances are there is a rust hole under the seals already and water is draining through it. If it is just a tad bit o' water, then perhaps either the seal is dry rotted from lack of lubricating them, or damaged from debris and lack of cleaning.

Basically, yes. Keep in mind if it leaks badly, this will probably not fix your issue. You more than likely need new seals, or need to remove them and look for rust holes underneath them.

Good news is that Geo always makes great walk-throughs.
Bad news is the del Sol seals have been on Honda's discontinued parts list for a number of years, so you will more than likely never find them.

What? http://www.hondaautomotivepart...ECTOR
Part #6, $119.
Also, try Silicone on them, it will help puff out the seals. Its almost compleatly eliminated my leaks. And, roll the window up before you shut the door. Helps seal it just a bit more.
