I got a 92 Honda Prelude, but I dont know why my ABS light is on. Can anyone help me?

 

Mine is on b/c I keep forgetting to clean the grease out of the speed sensor after my CV boot busted. At least, I hope that's all it is...

You can read the codes just like the check engine light to at least point you in the right direction.

 

If it turns out to be the relay, I've got a spare for cheap

 

mine is also on too. and i tried it in the rain, it doesn't work anymore. it's been out for a while but i haven't bother to take a look at it.

 

I'm not sure if this can help all of you guys but, i have made a data base on DTC Codes I'm not sure if it works for all preludes but, it was based on 97-01 let me know if this can help you guys

my been on sense i got the car, havent had time to find out whats up, but soon i will when i get free time, wedding kills me 2 weeks left then ill spend some time to my car, i heard bleeding ur brakes or abs helped some guys out

Don't be so sure. If she says things like "Why do you pay more attention to the car than me ? " or " You spend more money on your car than on me " then you know whats going to happen when you're actually married. No turning back from there.

So true....but to the original poster...you need to jumper out the service connector behind your radio console (2 wire plug) with a paper clip or piece of wire, then turn your key to the on position and watch the "ABS" light for flashes . Go to the link posted above and find out which code you are throwing.

 

Or get drunk and switch hats and hook up with the bride's sister and find her panties wadded up in the tank of the toilet. party like no tomorrow mang watch out for the flying V lol

 

sorry to tread jack, i told her after wedding ill take care of my car sense im spending all the money on her dress, ring, honeymood, most of the wedding. i deserve to fix my car. she replyed if u can get out of bed go head but ill try to keep u in. but i got another project after my car is a 94 civic si. its need a motor and interior right now its mostly a shell.
