Default drilled/slotted rotor question

is there a certain way the slots need to be angled?for example I have gsr blade rims on my car.should they be the smae angle of the rims liek on the driver side or should they be angled like the passenger side?I have it angled like on the passenger side but im just double checking.thanks

Hi not sure what you mean. The slots spiral outwards as far as I know to dissipate heat. If you had them th other way around it would trap it.

what do you mean by pointing foward?if you look the driver side does the very end of the slot face toward the front or toward the back?
for example this is the driver side...should the slots be angled like how the rims spokes are angled on the driver side

Here is what Brembo has to say about the issue.

The vanes in the middle of the rotor determine which side of the car the rotor should be mounted. If the vanes in the rotor are not directional, then go by the direction of the slots like Brembo has outlined.

So, they would face like the direction of your blades on the drivers side, but if you look at the blades on your passenger side, they are opposite than what the slots on the rotor would be.

Brembo also says that they believe the outside edge of the slot should make contact with the brake pad first, just like the diagram.
