Default Have you guys found the same problem?

My R is yellow. In black R's it should be harder to see. I guess only CW and PY can see it.
If you look closely at your rear bumper, and some parts of the trunk lid and wing, there apears along time some tiny black or rusty color particles sticking to your paint finish. They're hard to remove. I wash and wax my car very frequent so, I don't think it is lack of maintnance.

I'm starting to think it is carbon particles from the exhaust or contaminants from the atmosphere that dig into the paint by the magnifying effect of water beads and the sunrays....any thoughts??

After washing the car, try using a bone dry cloth and rubbing with strong pressure.
The only cleaner I found that will take it off is "Mean Grean" (not Simple Green)

HTH.

When I first saw the rust looking specks I was like WTF!!??! But all you need to do is get out the oribital and apply stage 1 to 3 and the car will be good to go.

Stage 1 Paint Cleaner
Stage 2 Gloss
Stage 3 Wax

Exactly, that will get it off.

Those little things that look like rust, come down from the atmosphere. They look like rust on white cars or light speckles on black cars. I have them and clay gets them off.
