What made you go for the straight h22 swap instead of the h2b?

need the Motor mounts for it, and on the H series shift linkage it is a lot diff. than the b series another rod need to be run through the firewall, pain in the ***...thats why i got the H2B kit, it allows you to run a b series tranny on an h series motor, cost about 1300

I got an h22 teg... Did it all myself so if u got any specific questions just ask... The shift linkage isn't that hard to route for the H tranny, u just route it undereather the car, right above the exhaust to the shifter box. The only hard part is cutting out a 4x5 inch hole in ur center console for the shifter, but that's not that hard if u know how to use a grinder.
