Nice car. I agree with your buddy. Just keep it and maybe test it out at the local track or even against some of your friends’ car and see is it worth it. In this sport we all know we’ll spend a lot of money for a good swap or build up but at the end it’s a slim chance that we’ll be able to sell the way we want to. Anyways good luck on the sale and again just make sure you won’t regret selling it. I would keep it if I were you but then again its your car.

yeah i've heard the swap runs around 9k... not to mention a whole lot of down time, i'm sure it wasn't a weekend project. I agree with you tho del sol's are becoming really rare especially a 97, since most 93-95 del sols have the problem with the door panels lifting up and i'm not really for the whole two tone (gray and black) door panels. I wish u the best of luck with your sale. I know were both losing money, i feel ur pain.

the only car i lost to was a silver hatch with a semi built gsr. no traction and no tune for me. pulled like 3 cars threw first but i only lost by a little more then a car. that car is pretty quick. i love to go again now that its street tuned.
