i just installed the the afc neo in my car, my question is were or what do i hook up the orange wire to, it says its for the illumination or audio, everything else works fine, please no smart remarks about the neo, my choice to buy it , ive check everywhere on this site and no help, just alot of smart remarks about using the neo , so if you dont have any good info dont reply at all, thanks alot

 

did you get the instructions for it?

should be a wiring diagram in there to follow, I tried to google quick and noone has them upload online. If you could throw up a scan I might be able to help.

 

yeah i got the instructions the orange one says, illumination power, then it explains---- to the illumination power for audio, etc----- thats all it says, im not trying to hook it up in the wrong spot and mess something up

 

hook it to your headunit

whatever wire if powering the backlight on your headunit to light up tap it and wire it into that.

on a 240sx it's a red/blue wire. in the radio wiring harness

so you can do 2 things.

find a wiring diagram for your headunit and find out which wire that is

OR

find out what wire taht red/blue wire is in a 240sx, then compare that to your harness and thats your wire

not the most straight foward answer I know, sorry but you can google around and figure it out from here.
