Does anyone know what are the deepest speakers I can mount in my front doors? I'd like to get the new Swans F1600...

...but they're 2.6" deep, and everything I've seen indicates a 2" maximum. Has anyone had success with deeper speakers, even using spacers?

 

It's 2 inches from the face of the door to the glass (when rolled down). Use a 3/4 inch spacer, and your speaker should fit just fine. That's what I did, and my speakers clear the glass by less than a pinky finger while still fitting behind the grills without hitting them.
