need help about alarm system for my civic.

Default need help about alarm system for my civic.

hello, i have a problem regarding my alarm system. I bought the car with the alarm system(dont know what brand). The first few days it works, like the lights will be blinking and sound would be on loud, but after like a few weeks, the sound went away, the lights will still be blinking if theft access the car, what can i do to fix back the sound??? my friends said the fuse is probably blown or something, pls help me out.

you dont sound like you know how to remove the alarm. i would suggest taking it somewhere and remove it. and get another new alarm.

the last thing you want to worry about is whether or not the alarm is working of if its not working. and the fact that you cant identify what brand it is, means remove it and put in a brand new one.

check the grounding on the siren or brain. Make sure it's not loose.

If its a no name alarm system Id reccomend removing it and replacing it with a more repuitable system such as Viper or Clifford. Just my .02
