starting now im piecing together parts for an H22 swap that im attempting with my 97 CL. i wanna do the swap right so i will be getting hasport mounts, and am trying to get a torque damper. but the closest thing i could find to an Accord/CL chassis (same exact chassis) is the one they offer for the prelude.

it says that they offer a universal one, but im not sure how thats gonna perform. so my question is has anyone with a CD/YA chassis fit the ignalls or anyother torque damper with there H22 swap. im tired of wheel hop and engine flex with my F22, so i certainly dont wanna have to deal with that BS with my H22.

It's more or less a waste of money. If you are going to do it right, then I am assuming you are going to get after market engine mounts that have good stiff rubber in them. that will work fine and reduce engine flex a good bit. Most wheel hop stems from soft suspension pieces. Replacing control arm bushings, strut tops (forgot what their called), and control rod arm with high quality urethane pieces or solid pieces help reduce wheel hop. I just don't think total elimination is possible if you are trying to not spend alot of cash.
Additionally, you might want to look into form springs to help reduce the hop. Additionally get a true posi unit for the diff. As the energy is transfered from half shaft to half shaft with an open diff, this is the initial cause of wheel hop. Loose suspensions only add to the problem. I suggest a kaaz unit that uses clutches, not a gear unit like the quafie.

I used one in my 95 Prelude very easily. I had to drill one hole one size bigger...that's probably the worst you'll have to do.
