power steering
my ek has no power steering right now. and if i get a swap that has power steering. do all i have to do is to replace the manual rack wit a power steering rack?.. n thats it? or theres more to it?
Yes, with all the proper lines and reservoir, assuming the engine comes with a pump that fits the chassis' pressure line.
(it would be easier to just sell the pump and brackets, when it arrives OR barter with the dealer to lower the price because you dont have PS)

yeah just because the motor has a power steering pump on it doesnt mean you need to have or convert to power steering to use the motor. just take it off. If you want power steering though youre going to need a new rack, a resivoir, and lines.
the cost mainly depends on your source for the parts. brand new parts from the factory will obviously be way more expensive than finding someone who will give you scrapped parts. Check junk yards and local automotive communities. You might even be able to trade parts with someone looking to swap to a manual rack.
I would expect though that you should be able to get everything for under 200$

power steering rack, power steering pump, pump brackets, belt, lines, resivoir, joint to connect steering column to rack, and if you want you to find a connector and run wires for the power steering pressure switch
