B16 tranny vs. B20 tranny in a B20 vtec?
Hey I am looking into doing a B20 vtec conversion in my del sol. I was wondering if someone could give me some of the pros and cons of putting the b16 tranny on it, or keeping the stock b20b tranny that the motor comes with. Which gets better times at the track, which is geared for gas mileage, and which is more reliable? Thanks guys
B16 tranny will be a hell of a lot better at the track. You can always put an LS 5th on the B16 tranny and have the best of both... gas mileage with LS 5th and acceleration in 1st-4th gear.
