what would be the highest rev stock internals on a b18a1 could handle (after rebuild ad break in)

If your rebuild is stock, then you won't make much power over the stock redline, so no need to go over 7K. Your stock rod bolts are the weak link in your bottom end, if you had installed some ARP's while you were there, you could rev to 8K or maybe 8.5K. But then floating a valve comes into play with stock valve train. Cams, compression, valve springs, and tuning are needed to make 8K worth the trip.

 

i havent rebuilt it yet, but i am gonna use arp rod bolts
