Default h22 tranny fit for f22?

okay the car is a 92 accord undergoing an obd1 h22 swap. my buddy got a killer deal on the swap but he mention that the accord was a cable and the h22 was a hydro. besides converting over to hydro, will the f22 tranny fit for the h22? did a bit of research and came up with a few yes and a few no's. both are 5 speed.

your accord tranny will work with h22. f and h are compatible with eachother. but i havent heard of an accord having a cable tranny. you should probably double check cus the h22 tranny has shorter gears and in my opionion is better than the f22.

he's a bum with too much money, gonna nitrous the thing and blow it like is rx7... guess he's stuck with the f22 tranny cause the conversion is going to suck. thanks for the info..
