obd0-obd1 workin/problems in my rex
wats up h-t i got a 1991 crx hf. i plan on takin the single vtec head i got and having it rebuilt and adding a aftermarket camshaft and camgear. the i wanna stick it on the block i got in the rex. the car is obd0 and i wanted if i take the obd0 intake manifold, fuel rail etc, and dizzy and put it on the vtec head, will that change it to obd0 or is there other stuff that makes the difference. thanx any help will be cool
If im correct injectors and distributor is the only thing that makes it obd0 under hood. So you could run it like that but there wouldnt be no vtec if using same ecu.
-OBD0-1 ECU adaptor
-P28 OBD1 ECU or equivalent
-OBD1 Distributor
-you can keep the OBD0 injectors but toss the HF's for some from an SI Civic/CRX or Integra 90-91
-add 4 wire O2 wiring and wiring for VTEC solenoid and Pressure switch
- I would advise getting a header for a 92up Civic Ex/Si for correct O2 placement
-P28 OBD1 ECU or equivalent
-OBD1 Distributor

you may get a chance to run your vtec with obd0 dizzy but my suggestion is get a obd1 dizzy and covert your wire harness to obd1 with jumper harness and obd1 ecu and yea,i think you can use the same injector tho, correct me if im wrong!!
