Default thermal or DC sport

I'm trying to decide on which exhaust to get on my car. I know of alot of people with the thermal but don't know anyone with the DC sport. I'm just wondering how it sounds and performance wise. I want something quiet but not too quiet though. It's for a 90 si with a b16a and DC header.

The Thermal is slightly cheaper, but the build quality is better than a DC IMO. Reason is because the Thermal is all stainless. The DC is not, they are known for their tendency to crack along the welds. I would opt for Thermal, my other would be an HKS. I've owned 2 thermals and 1 HKS. Compared to other CRX exhausts, the greddy isn't bad either. Everything else, I have seen out there is cheaply made or custom. I don't mind custom exhausts. I do mind that there are exhausts that cost some serious $$$'s that are made poorly.

I have a Tanabe Hyper. It's fine... plus I live in a really rainy place. It seems to hold up fine. I little bit of rusting on the ends of the muffler... nothing I can't polish off. I like the GReddy's looks better. The tip isn't as cool looking, but the muffler seems to fit a lot better. It's longer and thinner, just seems to fit better. I would go for the HKS if you want something that's low profile. And Mugen, if you can find it is the ultimate.

I also think that Thermal makes some good stuff. Honestly, DC makes good stuff... but it's not all that it's really cut out to be. I have their headers, the unit is really nicely made, but it really doesn't free up as much HP as it should with their reputation. RSR when they were still around would whoop them on every single dyno chart, but no one bought them cause they didn't have good marketing. They were better quality, better performing and better looking. Period. I also think my AEM CAI is overated as well. Sorry for all my random info.

Get Thermal over DC. Get GReddy MX or HKS Sport over the rest. RSR is actually back in the form of Skunk 2, try that stuff if you like something different.
