my friend has a 98 gsx turbo allwheel drive eclipse.the problem is smokes out the exhaust.i put a paper over the greddy exhaust and he revved it up and it soaked the paper with mostly water and oil deposits.it is the head gasket in my opinion.but it runs perfect,it dont over heat,it idles fine. a compression test would tell but,its the only thing that could cause this right?

How's the coolant in the radiator look? If there's oil in there, it's probaby the headgasket.

 

is the motor warm at the time?

all cars have water condense in the exhaust but it burns off when the motor warms up.
