Crimestopper arms but does not lock or unlock
Anyone know what I could check for this? The system arms with the remote, but it doesnt lock or unlock the doors. It's a gargoyle, not sure on the model number I could find out it if it helps, on an '03 s2000. Thanks

Yeah it always worked, then one day it just stopped. I didn't install it either. It came with the car.

The transmitter lights up. I'm not sure about the unit in the car. It's in the garage at the moment and it's gonna rain real soon. Is there a fuse I could check or something? You think thats the problem?
If it arms/disarms with the remote and you can hear it chirping, then it's not going to be a fuse on the alarm...
However, if the installer used the 451M lock module when they hooked up the locks, there's a fuse on the purple wire... You could check that out, but if you see a twisted pair of wires that are blue & green, they didn't use that module...
In that case, I'd check the main ground for the alarm, and make sure it's solid, and not attached to a secondary ground in the dash somewhere...

No fuse on a purple line. No pair of blue/green wires either. I think it is just old and broken. I cant trace the ground without taking body panels off. I dont want to have a dead car either so I dont wanna move this thing around too much.
It's weird though cause if I hit the button when I have the passenger side door unlocked it unlocks the doors after 3 seconds like it used to. It seems to be working through the module, but not when I press the button.

Forget what I said, because for some reason, I thought you said you had a Clifford, so I was giving you DEI colors and modules... Let me do some research on the Crimestoppers...
I would still check the ground....
