b16a harness question

Default b16a harness question

okay so i used the harness that came with the b16 and connected it. there is one plug left. square shaped. ive seen on other forums that they used their stock d series harness? im wondering if i can just use the b16 harness because everything plugs up except one plug and i think its from the dist. its a obd0 b16a and the car is 89 civic std. need help please

You may be able to use the harness that came with the engine, but you'll be rewiring the dash harness to make that work.

A picture of that plug would be helpful, but I highly doubt the harness will be easier than using your stock harness and pieces from that harness to convert the harness in the car over.

Absolutely. Do that first, and then use the stock harness on the B16.
