CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

The trunk light will not turn off on my dash at all even when the trunk is closed. i can not find out what is wrong with it can someone please help me!!!

you obviously have a problem with the wires running from the latch that say if its closed or not. take the **** apart and figure it out.
