so is everyone thinking the same way i am? what up with all these people wanting to get sportbikes all of a sudden, is this becoming a fad?, maybe its just the people in my area but it has me wondering........

I think I see that trend developing here too.

You'll never see me on a racer replica though, I can't stand the outrageous paint schemes.

I cant stand the outrageous insurance.

 

I pay 39 dollars a month for my CBR600.......It's not that bad, but guess it does depend on where you live at the time.

 

At $39 per month, what is your coverage? Liiability level? Uninsuerd motorist? UM Property Damage? Comp and collision?

 

It's not just your area...around here it's something of a fad, due to sportbike appearances in several rap videos (don't know this for sure, not into rap). Plenty of the stunnaz hereabouts are bike squids too, much to the annoyance of people who ride for the sake of riding rather than because "it getz mAd ho's, y0!"

but i heard that one might not make it into production. also there is some movie coming out called 'torque' but i dont have any info on it.

also there is going to be a remake of the most popular anime movie: Akira - which is about motorcycle gangs.

 

oh no! if and when that movie 14K hits the big screen getting a bike will be the "thing" to do

Who cares? It seemed like everyone was getting bikes when I started riding street too about 4 years ago. Although I have noticed bikes and stuff in rap videos and what not where I never saw them in the past...

I have good friends that i would never suggest get a bike..
