What's the difference between a spooned motor and h22a?
I'm new to this car scene and i really want to fix up my Honda Accord 2000. I would like to swap out my motor but don't know what's the difference between a spooned and h22a. Can anyone help me out?
if by "spooned" motor you mean one built by Spoon Sports, and not just some motor that one mechanic had a one night stand with, then your out of luck. Spoon sports does not make a create motor for our cars. Perhaps you should turn off 'The Fast and The Furious' and start reading about your accord. OR go ask Hecter, he has 3 civics with spoon engines, and a motec system exhaust
ETA: H22A is the Japanese motor from the prelude. USDM/CDN prelude motors are H22A1. The H22A will bolt up to your stock trans assuming that you have an F23 engine (2.3L 4cyl)
