im building a all motor b16a engine and i was woundering what a good strong set of rods would be to use but not to expensive around 400 dollars or so.

im using wiseco 11.5:1 pistons in it will i need to rebalance it with the eagle h beam rods?


im looking to make from 250-300 hp

Yes, you will need to rebalance it.

Why are you building the block up? Hoping to make a higher redline or something? Stock internals on a B16 will hold up fine to 300whp w/ a good tune.

 

im building the head with crower stage 2 -3/4 race cams with crower springs im planing to shift about 10k
