might have a chance to pick up a 98 accord. just wondering what the options are. what do the swaps go for?

couple of notes and concerns...

the engine in the car is burning alot of oil, either needs to be replaced or rebuilt.

i live in NY and 96 and newer vehicles need to get plugged in to pass inspection, so whatever i end up doing i'd like it to at least be possible to pass.

i haven't really had much accord experience so if you guys could share your opinions on what to do.

i'd basically like to end up with a daily driver that has alittle extra push.

 

It's an f23, but boost that bad boy anyway

 

from my understanding the motor is in no condition to be boosted..

 

The f23 handles boost great actually. If its a manual transmission the longer gears of the tranny in your car will also work well with the boosted motor. This motor loves boost

 

ok so your saying to rebuild the motor and boost it? i am picking the car up cheap due to the fact that the motor and clutch are beat

 

I agree with everyone else...boost the f. No swap is worth the money you'll put into it in my opinion.

 

or boost a Kseries and drop it in but i dont think anyone has done that yet (into a 6th gen)

 

If anybody wants to donate a K, I will drop it into my 6th gen.
