ok i got my iridium spark plugs in for my type r. i was trying to gap them and the facking thing broke on me!!! so how do you gap these suckers?? im going to have to buy a new one or just write it off as a waste of money if their ungapable.

 

They should come pregapped.
Otherwise iridium plugs arent worth the money as platinum are cheaper
and work better.

 

they cant be gapped and the gap is different from the regular plug. they come with 0.8mm gap for honda, but stock is 1.1-1.3

yes...a few people have found out how fragile the welds can be on the iridium plugs the hard way...consider yur self lucky

i know of 2 people who have had the electrodes break off in the engine

 

Indeed, which is reason enough to NOT use them.

Iridium plugs are BS and a waste of money!
Stick with stock ones

 

actually the performance gain was noticed on the dyno....

but just wouldnt have the piece of mind using them
