Skunk Stage 2 = 10 HP?
I read somewhere in these pages that a ITR running the full Skunk Stage 2 cams setup only give you about 10-14hp, can anyone confirm this?
It seems like people who have dynoed their Tegs are GSR owners, anyone with a "R" running Stage 2, if so what 's the verdit?
10-14 at peak or mid?
Thanks Guys.

The problem is tuning. Everyone get different results due to tuning. Cams are not plug and play upgrades....
These are the cams I've got and I made 186 to the wheels(corrected hp) with the basic bolt-ons. I have hondata and have had 3 places tune it all with the same result. I'm not sad nor am I happy but the are pretty good cams. I'd probably make more if I milled my head a little bit more.
stage 2 should give you more power than that. Let me just add these are big cams and require more compression to get the best use out of em..
I should show you my gains with stage 1's on a 11:1 compression'd motor. excellent..

I have had expereinces with the stage 1s and stage 2s
I used the stage 1s in my car for a good 5 months and they were great. I noticed good gain over the stock R cams when I played with them alot.
Then we installed stage 2s in my friends 00 ITR overall the basics of things were the same as the stage 1s. We then started to tune the car and it was more difficult than we expected. With more power spots came more dead spots throughout the band.
Never dynoed either but both are good cams. The stage 2s are just harder to tune IMHO. Gluck

all motor tuning, if you get lots of power at the top end and no power at low end, then you've done a good job.
