I'm planning on going to a CRX meet in Niagara falls at the end of July but I want to bring my family along. I don't want to drive 2 cars down so I'm trying to figure if my minivan would be able to pull the CRX. The minivan will have 4 passengers and luggage. Any know if this would work? Oh and it's a 6hr drive each way.

 

If it is the 6cyl no issues. Grassroots motorsports was pulling an EP around on an open trailer to there track events.

 

It's a 2.2litre 4cyl. The 1st gen was built on the Accord platform and only the 4cyl was available.

 

Oh no...I definitely don't recommend it...but I have seen it done. Can't guarantee you won't have transmission problems though.

I have seen Civics pull Civics on tow-dolleys, but if you have craploads of luggage and other people in the car, you're pushing the limits.

Braking will also be an issue...

 

Tranny will not like it one bit.
