hi guys

i got an exhaust leak at the collector flange from my dc header
but the flange is bent ..
i have a replacement header and a new gasket ..

i was told by the muffler shop guy to just replace the flange with a flex pipe ..
but i was wondering if i could somehow fix the flange itself, by bending it back in place
or if that was even necessary if i replace the gasket

You'll have to elaborate a bit about how exactly it's bent. Do you have any photos?

 

the bottom part of the flange on the midpipe (?) is bent backwards, if that helps

I'll try to take pics and have them up this week
