if you put the inverted colour version of the EG on top of the original layer then erased everything but the body you could get it to look like it has a chrome paint job

Or, you can overlay a white layer on top of the original picture, erase everything but the body itself, go to Layers-->Overlay, and mess with the opacity and you have chrome/polished paint job
