Default piston and rod setup

I am doing a b20vtec and I was wondering what would be a better piston and rod set up, either rs machines b20 itr pistons on shot peened b20 rods (arp bolts of course) or arias pistons on scat h beam rods? Any other combinations you would recomend - what are some b20vtec owners using?

Very NICE, That is what I am running with GREAT success.

If you going cheap I say stick with the cast parts and have them well balanced and fitted. Spend the extra time/money on being picky about your tolerances/clearances.

I happen to be that local guy

sorry to jack your thread, but is it safe to run aftermarket pistons on stock rods with arp rod bolts, and vice versa?

After market pistons are fine to use with OEM rods, But it requires special machining of the OEM piston to use an after market rod with. Really not worth it either way. OEM/OEM or After market/After market.
