Default CARBING Front Upper strut bar VS. Password JDM 3 Pt. front upper strut

I'm curious which one is actually better than the other, because I'm interested in swapping my Megan Racing strut bars (rear and front) with either brand. Comments from people that have them installed in their cars would be appreciated..

Thanks!

Password JDM 3 point Strut Bar:

Price isn't really an issue, I'll just wait til I can afford the particular brand

Carbing is bling points and has the MC brace.

As far as one being better than the other, it's peanuts. I believe the PW:JDM has an extra rib welded inside the steel tubing, but it's nothing to write home to mama about.

Here are a few of the differences I noticed in the bar itself....

I don't think either of those things would make a very noticible difference but it just makes the Carbing bar look beefier IMO. It could be just that the bars in the pics are that way because they are for different applications. Also as a bonus, the Carbing bar comes with a brake master cylinder stopper. I don't know if it makes a difference, but it's suppost to increase brake pedal feel and response.

Overall I like the Carbing bar more. Thats just my $0.02

they both bend, so it really doesnt matter and will boil down to its resale value in the next years when you sell it. good luck

One bar isn't really better than another in terms of performance. Either it flexes or it doesn't. Even 3 pt bars aren't much better than a 2 pt. Only in theory.

I'd take either of those bars over a POS heim-joined ebay special. Megan bars are ****.

Not comparably to Carbing/Password JDM. Just stare at a picture of each, and you'll see.

I suppose, but a 3 point w/ goodies over a 2 point adjustable is much better looking IMO
