WTB ebay 98-01 integra halo headlights w/ clear lenses or WTT OEM integra headlight lenses for clear
hey guys...i know this is a bit odd but i have a method to my madness....
the deal is this. im doing a retro very soon, but realized after much research that the light produced from the hids will get distorted on the 3 flutes ( lines) that the oem integra headlight has.
so im trying to buy a 98-01 halo headlight with clear lenses(no lines) in order to swap them out...
im also looking for a trade, if anyone has a set lying around. when it comes to normal halogen projectors, the flutes dont really matter, but on an retrofit, they play a very big part..
condition of headlights does NOT matter, as long as the lenses are in good condition..thanks in advance

actually its been proven that those 3 lines do decrease the output of hid lights, however they do disperse the light produced by halogen bulbs...if you go to hidplanet, there is a specific thread about oem integra headlights not producing a good output with a tsx retrofit due to those 3 lines, each about 4mm thick. when the lenses were cleared, they produced a greater and sharper output.
the fluted lenses were made in order to throw halogen light to various angles, but when it comes to oem hids, especially in retrofits, they cause an uneven cutoff and distorted light...
but anyway, thanks for your advice. i actually decided to wetsand my original headlights instead, since its much easier than buying a new set.
