A dude is selling me a gsr head and block for a really good deal. he says the block has a crack in it but the internals may be reused with another crankcase. what are things I should look out for? Is it wise to reuse these parts in another crankcase?

 

a cracked block can get pretty expensive. if i was you i'd try to just buy the head and look for a good shortblock.

does this motor supposedly have forged internals or something?

 

no it's all stock. would anybody recommend taking the block and using the internals in a bare crankcase?
