I'm looking to replace an EX power steering rack with a manual rack, and looking at places like Advance, I've only found power racks listed.

My questions are can you swap a manual rack into it as a direct swap, and if so, where can I find a reman or regular manual rack?

I also tried DX's, LX's, etc and still got only power racks. If nothing else, can't the p/s rack lines be plugged?

 

yeah, you won't find anything worth getting at advanced. you need to look at junk yards and parts cars. honestly, i can't remember if the subframes are different between the manual and power.

yeah you can loop the hose. i'm sure there are plenty of threads about doing this.

i might be interested.. i have a 93 dx with no power steering.. and i am looking to install power steering in the car..

 

pwr is fun, but it makes no difference between the two power or not rack
