Is it normal to smell gas at the evaporative canister when it's hot?
I only smell the fumes when it's above 90 degrees F and have pinpointed the smell to the evap canister. No leaks, just fumes.
Is this normal? If so, is there anything I can do about it? Venting raw fuel fumes into the environment is not a good thing.

It's all stock, I've never touched it. Oh, and I can only smell fumes when I'm stopped and at idle. I'll double check the connections.
My mistake, it's the fuel filter that smells of fumes. Same question, different part. It's not leaking, just stinky when it gets hot outside. I assume that means it needs a change?
If your smelling fuel that means that it is leaking... it may not be doing it very fast... in fact it may be so slow that it doesnt have a chance to be in liquid form.. just vapor
