<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by rdblckSV650S &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">search??</TD></TR></TABLE> search for what? buying a bike? high mileage? 1995 f3 mileage? 36,000 miles?

did you even read the op's post?

OP: while 36k miles on a well maintained bike isnt much, $2500 for said bike IS a bit much. then again, its in season, so prices will be a bit inflated anyway.

36k miles is alot if the bike wasn't maintained correctly. on the other side is the bike had all of its proper maintenace done its a honda, it can take many more miles.

That doesn't sound like too bad of a deal assuming it is in good mechanical order (and at least decent visual order). Look around for similar bikes to see what they are going for.

Thanks for all the replies, I think Im going to check it out tomorrow and from the ad everything looks good, couple scrapes here and there but its 12 yrs old and ill probably add a few more. Im going to check to see if there is maintenance records and what not.

What are some of the things that should be done maintenance wise at this many miles? thanks again.

I was just wondering what made you go with the f3 as a first bike? Is it more noob friendly than things such as f4i's and gsxr's?

u can usually find them dirt cheap and they seem like that get pretty good reviews. if i was a new rider i wouldnt think twice if i laid one down, now a f4i, id be pissed off

Ohh okay. I'm still a beginner rider and rode my friends r6 and decided it was too much for my first bike, I've heard there are some other 600's that aren't so touchy in the throttle but forgot what they were...so still looking and enjoying a 250.
