transmission problem?
hi guys new memeber here.
i have a 90 accord ex auto. it seems to have a sports button on the shifter, even when the sports button is not pushed in, the sports light comes on and the trans wont shift right, i took off console and disco where the wires are connected but it comes on and goes off at will, this really sucks...thanks in advance

it means that you have a tranny code, kinda like the check engine light.
Its most likly the TCM, however, to be sure you need to pull the code. There is a blue 2 pin connector behind the passenger side kick panel. Jump it with a paper clip with the key in the || position, and count the flashes
