hi guys having a weird problem with my cd accord the climate control wont turn on until the engine is warm cant use the fans or heaters the whole thing is disables it self then turns back on when the engine is warm. When it trys to turn on when you start the car the screen flickers wit the current settings then display goes blank.

was wondering what could be casuing this

Had the same problem with mine. Eventually it packed up and wouldn't come on.
At the back of the control unit is two plugs ( a black and a grey plug), if you pull the grey one out the blowers will come on but it stays constantly. Unfortunately, I had the temperature set at a hot levell. I couldn't get the AC to work either. After months of tolerating the hot temperature I sourced a second hand unit and changed the whole climate contol unit. I am lucky it's ok now.
