ok well i just did the swap, into my eg dx start the motor i have no cel's and it runs like ****. it sounds like really heasitant once i step on the gas and it kinda sounds like how a big chevy idles. its kinda like a popping sounds as the pedal is pushed down like like its not smoothe. i checked timing and it was all good there. i put new plugs in ran it for about 5 mins and took them out to read them and they were already black and sooty, there is no leaks, there is no smoke comming from the exhaust... i put my injectors and fuel rail on from my old motor along with the dizzy, i have no idea what it can be. the only thing i can think of right now is maybe bent valves, because its obviously not a rod, nor piston rings cuz that would make smoke, im thinkin valves any one have any input please help me out.

 

it needs overhaul i guess...

 

i think im sure that it is bent valves.

 

SEARCH "IACV" AND "FITV".. I CLEANED MY IACV AND SCREWED THE FITV ALL TEH WAY IN AND IT WENT FROM.. GOD MY Z6 SUCKS TO .. HEY.. THIS MOTOR ISN'T THAT BAD.. AND I GAINED LIKE 20 MILES PER GALLON.. SORRY BOUT CAPS.. WORKING AT THE MOMENT

 

yea the screw is all the way down. and i cleaned that also. so thats not it.
