Default Those with Boomslang (and such) type adapters for your ECU...

How did you mount all of the extra wires? Were you able to get everything back the way it was supposed to go, in reference to the ECU, ECU cover, black wire flat thing, etc?

Seems like the Boomslang left too much wire and I'm having trouble coming up with a good and safe way to mount everything while using all of the OEM hardware around the ECU. Not to mention getting the plastic kick-panel to fit back on properly.

I just kinda jammed those wires up in there, threw the nuts back on the ECU, then discarded the metal cover. And put the plastic kickpanel back on

Yeah, I can't see any way to preserve the metal cover. I wanted to because the kick panel attaches to the bottom, but there are too many wires.

Boomslang appears to be a quality piece, but unless I'm missing something I don't see anyway to preserve all of the OEM stuff.

I'm **** about installations though.

I ordered my boomslang harness from their website. Definitely one of the best harnesses out there

My wires fit fine... can't even tell there is a harness there.... it's a clean and easy install compared to splicing your ECU wires, which I did before I purchased the harness...

You just have to do it primitively and gently jam the wires in a corner then put the plastic cover over it.

I took off the metal cover and also don't keep the kickpanel on because I pull my ECU wherever I go

I couldn't get the metal cover to fit either, so I just put the kick panel on without attaching the bottom fastener.

Double the harness in two so that both of the connector blocks are touching each other and tuck one end in under the ECU and fit the cover, the other connector block will be stuck out the bottom of the metal cover but it does fit and the cover goes back on perfectly, its just a matter of pushing and bending the wires until you get it all fitted into the area below the cover.
