Default pistons for b20vtec

I was wondering if the jdm itr oversized pistons work in a b20vtec with the difference in the bore or will I have to use the standard itr pistons?

you need 84mm pistons. The standard ITR pistons are 81mm. The OS pistons are only like .25 over. YOu will not be able to use an OEM piston. You will have to go with the RS machines ITR replica pistons which are 84mm.

Well according to bambams thread, How to build a "reliable" lsvtec/b20vtec, at the top of the all motor section it says you can use p30 b16 or p73 itr pistons in a b20vtec and I was wondering if I would use the os ones.

I think he was saying that you can use those pistons in an LSVTEC. You can't use ITR pistons in a B20 because it has an 84mm bore, while all other B series have 81mm, as JAYSEM said. If you want an ITR-like dome, go with the RSMachines B20 pistons.

depends what you want to do. I for one have 84mm Safety Pistons the same pistons that RS sells. 11:5:1 Compression. So far so good on my all motor b20vtec setup.

IF you have money to spend your can't go wrong with JE or Arias.
