From what i have seen, the VIS carbon fiber looks to be a lower grade fiber and offer marginal fitment at best. On the other hand, Seibon parts seem to fit like OEM. This is based on what i have seen/experienced

based on my experience aswell Seibon fitment and quality topped VIS

IMHO this is a bad question. I have read post from people who say Seibon is crap and that VIS is crap. IMHO your only concern should be about fitment. All carbon fiber hoods will oxidize and fade over time so why blow 2 hundo more on basically a name. Again I have read on here from people on both saids that say this. I got my OEM ebay CF hood and fitment was almost perfect and the weave was great. Just make sure it's Grade A carbon fiber and the weave is good. Other than that I would say don't pay for a name brand CF hood.
