you are basically going to need a set of sockets. from 10mm probably up to whatever size the hub nuts are. you say you are just taking the block? it still requires a pull of the entire motor, tranny and all.

if they dont supply a hoist, you will need that, a full range of sockets, air tools help

Two of the most important things that I can think of are a pickle fork, rent from autozone, and a hammer or sledge to hit it and a 50 mm crank pully bolt holder to get the accessory pully off to remove the t belt. Of course you will need to have a range of screw drivers both flat and phillips, metric sockets up to 19 mm including some 12 point sockets to remove the clutch and flywheel. I would recomend removing the whole longblock and tranny as an assembly because one of the hoist hooks is on the tranny and the other is attached to the ps pump which is on the head. I will post if I think of anything else.

edit: forgot metric set of box ended wrenches and of course the manual with step by step instructions.

Great.. thanks for all the quick responses guys. Im going to do as much as i can without the hoist then let them finish pulling it. This way ill save some money that can go towards the VTEC head
